What changed

In the June 2026 Partner Center announcements, Microsoft said Microsoft 365 Business Standard with Copilot and Microsoft 365 Business Premium with Copilot become permanent SKUs starting July 1, 2026. Partner Center price list preview began June 1.

Microsoft lists updated pricing at 23.50 USD per user/month for Business Standard with Copilot and 32 USD per user/month for Business Premium with Copilot. Microsoft also announced or extended Copilot Business promotions through December 31, 2026, including Business Basic plus Microsoft 365 Copilot Business and standalone Microsoft 365 Copilot Business promotional offers.

Why CSP partners should care

  • Copilot becomes a default SMB packaging conversation: partners can lead with bundled AI in the Business Standard and Business Premium motion instead of treating Copilot only as an add-on.
  • Quoting needs SKU precision: sales teams, reseller portals, and pricing exports must separate permanent bundled SKUs from standalone Copilot Business promotions.
  • Renewals get more strategic: every Business Standard and Business Premium renewal is now a practical checkpoint for Copilot readiness, adoption services, and budget alignment.
  • Billing and reconciliation must be clean: operators should validate price list import, catalog visibility, subscription term, billing frequency, margin rules, and invoice descriptions before launch-day quoting at scale.

Operational checklist

Before July 1

  • Import and validate the June price list preview in Partner Center.
  • Confirm catalog names, SKU IDs, terms, billing options, and eligibility rules in quoting systems.
  • Update reseller margin templates for bundled Copilot offers and promotional alternatives.
  • Refresh customer-facing quote copy so bundled SKUs and standalone promotional Copilot offers are not confused.

After launch

  • Monitor first orders for provisioning, billing, and reconciliation variance.
  • Give resellers a renewal playbook for Business Standard and Business Premium customers.
  • Attach readiness, security, adoption, and governance services to Copilot proposals.
  • Keep an audit trail for price source, reseller margin, customer approval, and subscription activation.
