CSP Eligibility Dashboard: Prepare for Tenant-Level Enforcement
Microsoft introduced the Eligibility Dashboard on 27 August 2026 as a consolidated view of Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) direct bill authorization requirements. Direct bill partners should use the 90-day pre-enforcement window to find affected tenants, assign owners, and close status gaps.
What changed
The new dashboard brings requirement status, actions, and timing into Partner Center under Settings > Account settings > Eligibility Dashboard. Microsoft is rolling it out gradually to CSP direct bill partners through mid-September. Availability for indirect resellers and distributors will be communicated in future updates.
For this release, two requirements are validated at the tenant level: Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program (MAICPP) enrollment and the associated security requirement. Enforcement starts 90 days after release. Other annual authorization requirements remain at the partner global account (PGA) level, including trailing-12-month revenue of at least $1 million USD, an active support plan, and a Solutions Partner designation.
Why CSP partners should care
- Authorization risk becomes tenant-specific: one noncompliant tenant can be at risk even when the wider partner organization is otherwise healthy.
- Associations are operational data: an incorrect partner location account (PLA), PGA linkage, or enrollment association can make an active program appear inactive.
- 90 days is a control window, not a deadline to discover the problem: remediation, status propagation, and support escalation need time.
- Indirect channels need monitoring too: the current release targets direct bill partners, but Microsoft says future updates will cover indirect resellers and distributors.
Operational checklist
- Confirm dashboard access. Check the Partner Center account-settings area with a global administrator or admin agent role as rollout reaches your organization.
- Inventory every CSP tenant. Use Microsoft’s tenant-discovery guidance to identify all CSP enrollments associated with the partner organization and avoid reviewing only the currently signed-in tenant.
- Separate PGA and tenant controls. Record the owner, status, evidence, and next action for tenant-level security and MAICPP enrollment as well as PGA-level revenue, support-plan, and designation requirements.
- Validate PLA and PGA associations. Correct location-account relationships and confirm that the updated MAICPP status is reflected in Partner Center.
- Track the 90-day remediation window. Treat “Action Required” as an internal work item with due date, accountable owner, evidence, and escalation path.
- Allow for propagation and escalate discrepancies. Microsoft advises contacting Partner Center support if a status remains incorrect more than 24 hours after remediation.
- Preserve the audit trail. Retain dashboard captures or exports, association changes, support cases, and the date each requirement moved to a compliant state.
How Tagydes helps
Tagydes gives CSP indirect providers and direct resellers an operational layer for partner, reseller, and customer governance. Teams can turn Microsoft requirements into tracked workflows instead of relying on a single administrator’s memory or an unstructured spreadsheet.
- Partner and reseller operations: maintain tenant and reseller records, ownership, and GDAP/MCA context in one controlled workflow.
- Evidence-ready governance: retain status changes, remediation notes, and support references alongside the affected organization.
- Operational visibility: surface exceptions before they affect quoting, provisioning, billing, or customer service.
